Recently, The First Engineering Bureau of CREC successfully completed the beam erection task for the Kassa to Kindia section (small mileage of Beam Yard No. 2) of the Morebaya-Simandou Railway MXTJ-01 project, creating favorable conditions for accelerating subsequent beam fabrication and track laying.
The First Engineering Bureau of CREC is responsible for prefabricating and erecting 1,710 T-beams, laying 289.14 kilometers of mainline tracks, and 61.06 kilometers of station tracks for the MXTJ-01 section of the Morebaya-Simandou Railway Railway. For the Kassa to Kindia section, six bridges were constructed in reverse from DK169 to DK161, requiring the installation of 120 single-track T-beams.
Since the beam erection for the Kassa to Kindia section began on August 25, the project team of The First Engineering Bureau of CREC has proactively addressed challenges such as high transport risks for bridges during the rainy season and complex construction management. They optimized working hours during the rainy season, ensured beam production capacity, and accelerated construction progress. Simultaneously, the team installed bridge deck systems and abutment baskets, laying a solid foundation for the project’s timely completion.
